UMNO vice president Johari Abdul Ghani dismissed allegations that his appointment at the Ministry of Natural Resources and Sustainable Energy was not akin to the party is now dominating the cabinet of Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim.

He who is also the Minister of Plantation and Commodities Minister said whoever dominates Dewan Rakyat is having the larger number of seats as compared to 26 of Umno.

“What made you assume that we dictate the cabinet?

“Umno has only 26 Parliamentarians. Domination goes to the party with the most number of Parliamentarians in the 148-seat on the government bloc,” he said in Kuantan, today.

Johari was tasked to the job while 2nd Finance Minister Amir Hamzah will also act for the Economic Ministry.
