MELAKA Chief Minister candidate Datuk Seri Sulaiman Md Ali is the person for the job as he has the right personality and trusted by the people, said Barisan Nasional (BN) Youth Chairman Datuk Dr Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki.
Sulaiman, who is defending the Lendu State Assembly (DUN) seat in the Melaka State Election (PRN) is also a friendly person, easy to negotiate and aware of the people’s problems, he said.
“Throughout his tenure as Chief Minister, he was very disciplined in administration and strictly ensured that there was no leakage in expenditure.
“He is also known as a leader who takes care of the congregational prayers. The daily routine starts with the congregational Suboh prayers at the mosque, and is even made part of the program at the mosque in each district,” he said in a FB posting.
Today, BN launched a manifesto themed ‘Stability for Prosperity’ with five main thrusts as a commitment to the people, including Political Stability, Economic Boom, Governance Efficiency, United Society and Sustainable Development and Prosperity Partnership.
BN Election Director and BN Deputy Chairman Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan when launching the manifesto said, it is a realistic commitment and can be completed in the next five years apart from not being drafted carelessly, instead taking into account all the needs of the people.
