JOHOR BAHRU, March 7 – Secretary-General Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan said Barisan Nasional (BN) remains the subject of opponents’ attack in Johor as it is relevant at all times.
“They will continue to be hard on us but we must remain strong to face them. God willing, we will prevail on the March 12 election.
“From Mersing to Johor Bahru, from Pagoh and Muar until Pengerang, the development was brought during BN era. Whether its a clinic or hospital, schools to universities, surau to mosques, small township to big city, it was BN who built them,” he said.
The Pontian MP said in his campaign here, today. The state election started right after the nomination day on February 26.
A total of 239 candidates from all parties will contest in the election, which sees seven three-cornered and two seven-cornered fights.
From that number, 56 are from BN and PN each, 30 Pakatan Harapan, 42 Pejuang, 20 PKR, 16 Independents, 7 from MUDA, 6 Warisan,4 from PBM and each from Putra and PSM.
