PARTY President Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi appoints Isham Jalil as the new information chief effective today, November 20.

He replaces Shahril Hamdan who resigned after defeat in the 15th general election.

His appointment was announced by Secretary-General Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan in a statement.

The appointment is made under Article 9.6 of Umno’s Constitution.
