THE General Assembly has endorsed Dr Mohd Puad Zarkashi as the new Deputy Permanent Chairman with immediate effect.

The motion was made by Secretary-General Ahmad Maslan and received unanimous approval from delegates at the Dewan Merdeka, World Trade Centre, today.

His appoinment who is also the Supreme Council member is to replace Rizuan Abd Hamid who passed away on May 20 last year over Covid-19.
