THE Registrar of Societies (RoS) decision to allow the president and deputy president posts not to be contested in the coming Umno polls shows that the party did not breach any provision in its Constitution.

Secretary-General Ahmad Maslan said in his Facebook posting that the decision was legitimate as it was passed during the recent 2022 General Assembly.

“We thanks the RoS for it. This shows the party passed the resolution accordingly to its Constitution.”
