UMNO has appointed Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki as the new secretary-general, replacing Deputy Finance Minister Ahmad Maslan.

Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Law and Institutional Reform) Azalina Othman Said, meanwhile, has been made the party’s information chief.

This was announced by party president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi at Menara Dato Onn, Kuala Lumpur today.
