PRIME Minister Anwar Ibrahim has questioned why some former Umno leaders were trying hard to deregister the party.

The Pakatan Harapan chairman said he didn’t agree with the move by two former Umno leaders who support such move.

“When they are in power, they put all Umno accounts to freeze but now their accounts too are slapped with the same action.

“But there are Umno people who supported them,” he said when launching the Unity Government’s machinery for the Selangor state in Bangi, last Friday.

He, however, did not name the two.
