SYED Hussien Syed Abdullah is now a member of Johor State Assembly after taking oath before Speaker Dr Mohd Puad Zarkashi in Johor Bahru yesterday.

He won the Mahkota by-election on September 28 by an impressive 20,648 majority votes against Perikatan Nasional candidate Mohamad Haizan Jaafar.

Mahkota state seat is under Kluang parliamentary constituency.
