KUALA LUMPUR, March 18 – The UMNO Youth Movement hopes that the General Assembly will be the best platform for all members to set party’s idealism.

Its leader Datuk Dr Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki said this is because the general assembly is the best platform for the party to set its direction and objectives for the future.

“This is the best time to embrace the idealism and putting the party back on the right track again without abandoning its principles, not even to the circumstances we are into now,” he said when met recently.

He added that PAU is also a yardstick for members to renew their commitment to the party’s real struggle.

“This gathering is the best event to refresh our resolution. The commitment of every member in defending our struggle by raking in the history and chart the future, especially in the context of today’s challenging environment and political flexibility,” he said.

Asyraf also hoped that PAU will unite everybody in making preparations for the 15th General Election.
