KUALA LUMPUR, 13 April – Puteri Chief Datuk Zahida Zarik Khan has put to question Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin’s suggestion for civil servants having a pay cut as contribution to the national’s savings and the endowment asset.
She said, this is akin to making them contribute to the government’s purse.
“The government have spent RM600 billion (including those generated by the BN govenment).
“What has happened? Have we over spent? We keep losing when foreign investors are no more interested in the country.
For instance, she cited how Apple and Samsung have chosen Vietnam as their manufacturing base while Amazon will build three data center in Java, Indonesia by end of the year of early 2022.
“If they had chosen Malaysia to invest, it is not the case anymore. They feel more secured with countries that offer stable governments and politics.
“Are we going to let it happen? Ask your conscience,” she said in a Facebook posting today.
