KUALA LUMPUR, Apr 21 – Youth chief Datuk Dr Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki has put up a poll on his Facebook virtual browser  for readers to vote as to whether the government succeeds or fails in curbing the spread of COVID-19 by using the Emergency Ordinance proclaimed on January 11.

Apart from the Movement Control Order (PKP), the Emergency will only end on August 1 and used as a measure to contain daily COVID-19 positive cases.

“However, after four months, what is your view on the Perikatan Nasional using the Emergency for COVID-19 pandemic,” he said.

The survey was also posted on his Twitter.

In his status, Dr Asyraf uploaded a graphic that gave visitors to his social with options to choose between A. #KerajaanBerjaya or B. #KerajaanGagal.

Based on observations, it is clear the majority of comments have chosen B.

For the record, daily cases of COVID-19 infection was still at the four-digit level and no less than two thousand cases were reported during the Emergency.
