KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 27 – The UMNO Supreme Council (MKT) has decided that the Divisional, Women, Youth and Puteri Delegates Meeting will be held on 1, 2 and 3 January 2021 (Friday, Saturday and Sunday).
In this regard, UMNO Secretary-General Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan congratulated them and hoped that the delegates would give good proposals to the party and the government. It will be held virtually during the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO).
“The quorum must be minimal ¼ from those who are eligible to attend. Attendance must be noted… congratulations. I hope they will give good suggestions to the party and the government,” he said in his Twitter , today.
Ahmad who is also the Member of Parliament for Pontian said, the online method can use applications such as zoom, Webex, GoogleMeet and others.
“For those who meet face to face, make sure the SOP is observed such as wearing a mask, checking the temperature and filling up only half the capacity of the hall (for example if 300 is full, only 150 can go in),” he explained.
It was reported that the Divisional Meeting which has been postponed due to the spread of COVID-19 was decided to be held simultaneously in 191 Divisions and will be officiated by the respective UMNO Division Heads. The same goes for the Women, Youth and Puteri General Assembly which will be held on 30 January 2021 (Saturday) and the UMNO General Assembly on 31 January 2021 (Sunday).
It will be held at PWTC with limited attendance and will also be made virtually.
