KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 12 – Barisan Nasional (BN) is not just a political coalition but a formula that has led to Malaysian prosperity since the early days.

In his FB posting, BN Chairman and UMNO President Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said, BN illuminates the spirit of peace and unity consensus and drives the history of harmony based on the Constitution and Rukun Negara.

“For a long time, UMNO, MCA, MIC and other parties have stood in it, representing the interests of all members of the multi-racial and multi-religious community. It’s hard to achieve what we have seen today had the country started off on a devastative formula.

“Therefore, it is not an exaggeration when someone thinks that if there is a split in BN, it means division in the country because the people have always been united according to BN principles.”

He said, it is true that there is a similar formula that non-BN has been trying to offer for the past 23 years, but unfortunately it is not the same because it is an artificial and bear no results.

“Alliances are scattered and hopes shattered. In the end, history proves that BN remains the best formula for molding the unity of the people. UMNO, MCA, MIC and other component parties continue to be united by sticking to the consensus to protect the country and defend the country.”

“Strictly speaking, BN has even proven to remain strong despite the black history of attacks from within.

“No matter what happens, BN leaders, members and supporters will continue to strengthen BN. Strengthening the cooperation with honesty and sincerity to work together,” he said.
