KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 21 – UMNO views seriously the news allegedly related to decision of the UMNO Supreme Council (MT) meeting recently.

According to a statement published by the UMNO Department of Strategic Communications (JKS), any statement on the party’s MT decision is invalid, unless it comes from party officials or its leadership

“Any report, speculation and other media statements should not be referred to as the party’s official stance or statement,” according to the statement, here, today.

Earlier, there were allegations on social media that UMNO would not cooperate with Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) and the Perikatan Nasional government in the 15th general election (GE15).

The report is said toderive from an MT meeting in Janda Baik, Pahang, last Friday.
