VICE-President Datuk Seri Mohamad Khaled Nordin expressed his gratitude that UMNO is able to fulfill its responsibilities by holding the party’s General Assembly scheduled for March 27 and 28.

He said despite facing the COVID-19 pandemic, UMNO has adjusted to the situation and will ensure success of the annual assembly.

“I would like to congratulate and welcome the UMNO General Assembly 2020 amid the pandemic.

“I am happy to note that despite this pandemic, UMNO is still able to carry out its responsibilities even in abnormal circumstances, and this reflects its full commitment,” he told UMNO Online.

Khaled  hoped the General Assembly would be able to inject a high level of enthusiasm and spirit among members and leaders throughout the country.

“I hope this rally will inject the true spirit of UMNO. Although we are not face to face, we can still show commitment to work hard for the success of the party.

“The spirit remains the high even though the the general assembly will see a difference. Use this to resurrect and refresh our pledge to make the party and the country great again,” he said.
