KUALA LUMPUR, Apr 28 – Some UMNO leaders who are still unclear about the ‘No, DAP, No PKR, No PPBM’ are creating unnecessary bad impression about it and did so only after the party has made its stand at the General Asembly, said Youth chief Datuk Dr Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki.

“The people no longer want to hear UMNO’s internal political stories! Try to explore the people’s issues right now! People are finding it difficult to make ends meet.

“People are disgruntled for the double standard SOP (standard operating procedures) and compounds! When they facing all this, some leaders are still in a daze!

“Affected citizens are worried that they cannot celebrate Eid with their families in the village,” he said in a Facebook posting thanking Wanita chief Datuk Seri Dr Noraini Ahmad who was resilient and quick to counter slander against the party.

He further urged relevant parties to focus more on the people’s problem rather than nibbling on ‘dumb’ issues.

Dr Noraini who is also the Minister of Higher Education today denied having a meeting with UMNO President Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi to give support to PKR President Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim as prime minister.

It follows media reports on allegations from Arau Member of Parliament Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassim and his wife who is also UMNO Women’s Exco Datuk Shamsiah Mohd Yassin who said there was a movement to support Anwar.
