Youth beef up social media for Melaka

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 26 – Youth Chief Datuk Dr Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki said the wing will define its operation in view of the latest SOP announced by the Health Ministry.

Whatever the SOP in, the movement will abide by it and ensuring that their operation for Melaka state election runs smoothly.

The Barisan Nasional Youth chairman also said they will go all out to woo the voters, especially the young ones. However, he said priority must be given to the health and safety of the people.

“We will beef up our digitiliased campaign. The movement will find avenues how we can penetrate the voters. This is the best method of campaigning during this pandemic. We want to reach out the voters on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and others. That’s the similar approach for the next general election. We have formed a special team for it,” he said.

On other matter, Asyraf said Pemuda took up seriously the welfare of those youngters involved in E-Hailing.

Over the past two months, the movement has had meetings with the Prime Minister’s Office, the Finance Minister, the EPF and Perkeso on the matter.
