MELAKA, Nov 16 – Umno President Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi hoped Melaka voters will choose BN in today’s early voting and polling on the 20th.

He also hoped the 11,557 early voters today will opt for Barisan Nasional for stability and prosperity.

“Happy voting to those who qualified today at 24 polling stations. Our hope is they will choose BN for stability and prosperity of the nation and its people.

“May your votes bring about a new meaning to all of us,” he said in a FB posting.

At the same time, Zahid reminded everybody to observe the SOP and avoid being victims of Covid-1.

“Do take every precaution to avoid the pandemic from shooting up again,” he said.

The early voting for Melaka state election started at 8am in all 28 State Assemblies until 5.30pm involving policemen, military personnel and their spouses.

Among the polling stations are the police headquarters, Sekolah Kebangsaan Kem Terendak 1 and II, Dewan Sri Beruang Kem Askar Wataniah and Alor Gajah district police headquarters .
