PAGOH, Feb 7 – Deputy President Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan advised Barisan Nasional machinery to work hard for victory in the Johor state election.
“Work it out, stop bickering and arguing. Put behind other priorities in order to win,” the BN election director told party machinery here, last night.
He asserted that all bad elements like self-interest and sabotaging the party must be avoided.
“Do not betray anybody and don’tbe chummy. We can do that in Melaka and negotiate with others but in the end we were chucked aside, and they said BN would not win. But BN went against all odds and now administering Melaka in style.
“We won it because we are together. Do not bicker because we lost many seats in the 14th general election,” he said when officiating the North Zone Machinery. Also present were BN chairman Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, Johor BN Liaison Chief Datuk Hasni Mohammad, MCA President Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong, MIC deputy president Datuk M. Asojan and chairmans of ‘Friends of BN’.
Mohamad also reminded them not to repeat past mistakes.
“Do not even confront others, do your work properly and without others knowing it. We just want to see good result.”
