KUALA LUMPUR, March 16 – Despite no longer being the Menteri Besar of Johor, no one can deny that Datuk Hasni Mohammad should be recognised as the architect of the rise of Johor and also for the state’s Umno and Barisan Nasional.

According to Information Chief Shahril Hamdan, not many can lead Johor BN and Umno during challenging times.

“We who campaigned during the PRN (State Election) witnessed his stature and ability as a leader in the eyes of the party and the people.

“He has proven to be successful in navigating and putting Johor on a good track despite going through various obstacles in an effort to drive the post-COVID-19 recovery process, thus re-developing Johor under the BN administration.

“Hopefully, Datuk Hasni’s leadership example can be inherited by us,” he said in a FB posting.

Shahril also congratulated Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi as the 19th Menteri Besar of Johor.

“As a young leader, of course, the people have high hope on him. Knowing him, I am confident he will be able to carry the people’s aspiration.”

“Thank you for accepting us to come from all over the state and country to campaign.

“Now it is up to the people of Johor and its new leadership to continue to write the famous story of the state of Johor Darul Ta’zim,” he said. – UMNO ONLINE
