GEORGE TOWN, Sept 13 – Umno’s Top 5 will meet soon to discuss the date of the 15th general election, says Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

The option to hold it this year is still open, he says here, today.

Asked whether the meeting will be held before Budget 2023, he says it has yet to be decided. “We can meet before or after theBudget,” he says.

The Top 5 are party president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, his deputy Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan and three vice-presidents Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin, Datuk Seri Mahdzir Khalid and Ismail Sabri himself.
