SECRETARY-General Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki today expressed his gratitude to Nga Kor Ming for dropping his plan to list Kampung Baru Cina as Unesco heritage sites.

Asyraf described the decision by the Housing and Local Government Minister as a show of respect towards Umno.

“Thank you YB Nga for recognising our sentiment and did not prolong the issue.

“We must focus on many other important issues, especially with regard to the people’s well being,” he said in a statement.
