BARISAN Nasional will not contest the Kuala Kubu Bharu state assembly seat should a by-election is held.

Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi hinted that the coalition might leave it to other components in the Unity Government, especially PKR.

“Although more than 50 per cent voters there are Malays, we might stay away. Leave it to others. That’s the mutual respect in the government,” he said at WTC yesterday.
