UMNO stripped the membership of former Senate deputy speaker Mohamad Ali Mohamad for joining Bersatu.

The decision was made during the Supreme Council meeting last Friday, chaired by party president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

“Mohamad has joined Bersatu.

“He is former Umno division chief for Tangga Batu in Melaka,” said a MT member.
