TENGKU Zafrul Abdul Aziz is now officially a PKR member.

The Investment, Trade and Industry Minister confirmed that the party had accepted his membership application.

He is now a member of the Ampang PKR division.

“I can confirm that I have applied (to join) the party and I have informed the secretary-general on the matter,” he said when met by the Malaysian media at the Malaysia Pavilion in World Expo 2025, in Osaka yesterday.

Asked if his membership application had been accepted, Tengku Zafrul answered in the affirmative.

“Yes,” he said, adding that his membership was approved following the party’s leadership council meeting about two weeks ago.

In May, Tengku Zafrul submitted his resignation letter as an Umno supreme council member, Kota Raja division chief and as a party member.
