UMNO president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has reminded its Youth wing (Pemuda) that political enemies are not their only task as they have to tackle many other issues.

The Deputy Prime Minister said there are more difficult challenges such as the social media algoritsm, adverse perception and efforts to place the trust in today’s society.

For seven decades, he said Umno Youth has been the party’s defend machinery when it was under attacks as they are quite vocal in protecting Umno’s dignity.

“As a leader emerging from the Youth wing, I do understand their stance and way of struggle.

“That leads us to become successors who continue the struggle for religion, race and nation,” he said in conjunction with Umno Youth 76th anniversary, today.
