Still reeling from Bung Moktar demise, Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi today announces the appointment of Jafry Ariffin as the new party chief for Sabah.

In a brief statement issued by secretary-general Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki this morning, Mohd Hasnol Ayob will be Jafry’s deputy while Samasuddin Yusos is the secretary.

Asyraf hopes party members in Sabah and the whole country will give them their undivided support as to enable them serving the nation better.
