UMNO PRESIDENT, Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi wishes Umno and Pas members happy first anniversary of Muafakat Nasional.
“In conjunction with the first anniversary of the Muafakat Nasional, I and my big Umno family wish Happy MUAFAKAT NASIONAL day to all PAS leaders and members as well as the ummah in Malaysia as a whole,” he said.
For the record, Sept 14 last year marked a history for the country when Umno and PAS signed the MN Charter, which saw hundreds of thousands of people thronged the Putra World Trade Center (PWTC) and ‘live’ on social media.
The Charter was signed by Ahmad Zahid and PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang. It symbolises unity of two largest Muslim/Malay parties in the country.
