UMNO Supreme Council member Datuk Seri Tajuddin Abdul Rahman was appointed party director for the 15th general election with immediate effect.

Party president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said the job scope and responsibility will be explained later to the Pasir Salak MP.

“I am sure that YB Datuk Seri can give full commitment in expediting his duty to ensure Umno and Barisan Nasional victory in the 15th general election,” the BN chairman said.

Meanwhile in the social media platform, Zahid who is also Bagan Datuk MP said Tajuddin’s appointment is to secure Umno and BN victory in championing the rakyat.
