KUALA LUMPUR, Apr 10 – UMNO President Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi is aware of the allegations that he made mistakes by listening much to the grassroots members.

They claimed the voice of more than 3.3 million members should be taken seriously as they are naive with what is best for the party.

“No. UMNO is not such. It will not neglected the grassroots since its strength lies with them.

“There are the major stakeholder of the party. The interest of our millions members must be taken care of,” he said in a Fecebook posting.

He said, UMNO must realise whatever deemed as best for them.

“In any war, its the grassroots that form our defense.

“There are 3,359,368 warriors at 191 divisions and 21,883 branches nationwide we need to protect their interest,” he said.
