KUALA LUMPUR, May 26 – The number of fatality from the pandemic is rising and alarming, said Umno Vice President Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin.
As such, he advised all Malaysians to stay united in containing the deadly virus.
“The government has done its best to do what it can with all its advantages and disadvantages. Now we must do our best, in our might and ability to avoid being infected and eventually infecting others.
“The time has come for us as a society to mobilize our commitment to save this country,” he said in a FB posting.
Khaled also said many of his friends had succumbed to Covid-19 in recent weeks.
“So sad that I couldn’t visit them. In this situation, we can only offer them prayers,” he said.
He also advised the people to continue to follow the SOP by the Ministry of Health (MOH).
“Implement the Movement Control Order (PKP) yourself and do it diligently. Then register and attend for vaccinations. We must believe in science and we must believe in research data.
“And finally, let us trust in The Almighty. We must save Malaysia,” he said.
