Don’t act irrational facing hardship – Zahid

KUALA LUMPUR, June 25 – Many of us are under depression due to multiple hardships caused by Covid-19, says president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

Now few have lost their jobs, household income and depleting businesses.

“It suffocates them when banks demand for payments when they are trying to make ends meet for their family, especially the little ones. Most of them are stuck. Some cannot help but thinking of their parents and spouses separated for a long time.

“Covid-19, on the other hand, is still at large,” he said on a Facebook posting today.

Zahid advises the public, notably the Muslims to take everything as a blessing in disguise.

“Always believe that Allah will not test us beyond our might. There is a solution to each and every problem. Maybe we are being reminded of something,” said the Bagan Datuk MP.

In that manner, he hopes the people will not lose their rationalism in attending to this problems.

“Don’t be irrational like wanting to take your own life as the final outlet. Love yourself and your family… our parents, wife and kids. Never give up and never stop praying.”
