KUALA LUMPUR, July 2 – Party President Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi is worried with the people’s frustration over financial difficulty amid the government effort to contain the Covid-19 pandemic.

He said the white flag campaign initiated by netizen manifests all predicaments they are into now.

“They are very creative, unmatchable although there are different view about it. Some support it while others say it is a disgrace to their family. Its up to their perception.

“Maybe its the best way to attract immediate assistance since it will take sometimes for i-Citra and the automatic moratorium,” he said in a FB posting.

The BN chairman, however, believes the community must keep an eye of their surrounding.

“There may those who are shy to admit that they are in difficulty. I understand many community associations and ‘surau’ set up their own Whatsapp group to attend to things like this.

“They told those badly affected to seek their aid, notably the poor who were never registered,” he said.
