KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 16 – Vice President Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin called on everyone to observe the Malaysia Day by becoming citizens who truly put the motherland at the utmost.
Stop looking for differences, stop arguing about who is superior and inferior because it only leads to misunderstanding among Malaysians.
“Today is the country’s birthday. On this day 58 years ago, a nation state for all was formed.
“We put aside all differences. It enable us to work together. Be proud of it. Sow the seeds of tolerance, understanding and respect,” he said in a Facebook posting.
He said, we must look forward and work towards a common agenda.
“Hopefully, Malaysia will continue to prosper and freed from the pandemic as to get back on track again.
Happy 58th Malaysia Day.”
