KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 30 – The party Supreme Working Council (MKT) has set the date for Branch, Division and General Assembly conferences for the year 2021 to be implemented starting this October.

Secretary General Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan in a media statement today informed that this decision was made in a meeting held yesterday and chaired by President Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi. All meetings involve no election because the Registrar of Societies Malaysia (ROS) has agreed on the postponement until December 29, 2022.

“Meetings can be held face-to-face or virtual or a combination of face-to-face and virtual according to the Covid-19 situation in their respective areas. Attendance at the meeting is with a minimum quorum ¼ of the number eligible to attend or more than ¼ as long as it is in accordance with the SOPs in respective areas,” he said.

The dates for the meetings are as follows:-

i) Branch Conference

15 October – 30 November 2021

ii) Women, Youth and Puteri Division meetings – Held Simultaneously Nationwide

11 December and 12 December 2021 (Saturday & Sunday)

iii) Divisional Delegates Meeting –

Held Simultaneously Nationwide

18 December 2021 (Saturday)

iv) General Assembly 2021

13-15 January 2022 (Thursday-Saturday)

At the same time, he said that in conjunction with Umno’s 75th Diamond Jubilee Celebration, there will be awards for state achievers. The y are:
