Study voters’ aptitude, says Prime Minister

SHAH ALAM, July 31 – All BN component parties need to conduct a detailed study of voter aptitude to determine is strength for the next general election, says Prime Minister and Vice-President Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
He said it is important to understand the sentiments of the voters as to whether they are ‘with or not with BN’.
“We need a detailed study. If we don’t know (strengths and weaknesses), we will end up in despair in the GE. They are no more attracted to Pakatan Harapan (PH), it seems, and they will not give a chance to the Perikatan Nasional (PN) government. We want to make sure,” he said when officiating Selangor BN Convention here, today.
Ismail Sabri also said it is important for all BN component party to stop sabotaging each other by wanting their candidates to contest the general election.
“We cannot sabotage friends because we have to know that it is not us (as individuals) who is competing but BN,” he said.
He said BN must ensure that the agreement among members in the component parties continues to be strong in order to win the hearts of the people.
“The general election is near. We have to work as if the GE is tomorrow,” he said.
He also said it is important for BN to wake up from the defeat in GE14.
