‘Don’t blame Umno, ask PH on the delay’

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 11 – Information Chief Shahril Hamdan said PH seems to launch endless attack against BN over the Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) issue.

As general election is around the corner, he said the Opposition blindly puts the blame on Umno and the coalition.

The Youth deputy chief also said nobody was certain as to what extent the damage is except that Umno ministers were accused of graft and wrongdoings.

“The PAC reports reveils many weaknesses. The MACC will probe it to ascertain whether crime was involved. However, don’t try to escape the reality behind it.

“The ships are there, not ‘invisible’. Under construction although delayed. But in attacking BN, does PH realise that they were also part of the decision maker as a government then? Just like what they did to Pan Borneo. Only BN to blame?”

Shahril added should there be proof of graft in the RM6 billion deal, let the MACC take action.

“Blaming Datuk Zahid and other Umno leaders is absurd,” he said while asserting that the party president had nothing to do after he swap Cabinet position in 2013 general election.

He said a proper investigation must be conducted soon.
