KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 14 – BN Chairman Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi lauds Wanita as the frontliners of the coalition and are ready to take up any challenges ahead.
Wanita BN, he said can play a bigger role in ensuring that the party wins the next general election.
“We now have six component parties in BN to shape up the nation’s political landscape. In seeing the existence of PH, BN has GPS, GRS and the latest there is GTA. What is our future?
“This ia a trend in our politics now. To which party will the voters are attracted to, it is up to our Wanita to woo them,” he said at the Wanita BN convention here, yesterday.
Umno Wanita chief, Datuk Seri Noraini Ahmad, meawhile said the plan to incorporate and implement efforts in run up to the general election is already under way.
Among the plan is 30 apprentice for the setting up of Women’s Bank and Education Special Fund.
