UMNO has temporarily suspended two divisional Wanita chief for unhealthy act during the campaigning for the 15th general election.

The duo, namely Datin Seri Shamsiah Yasin or Arau and Datin Seri Fatimah Kassim of Maran were involved directly or indirectly supporting the opponent candidates.

This was announced by Secretary-General Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan in a statement yesterday.

“In accordance with Article 10.15 of the party Constitution, they are temporarily suspended based on report and evidence gathered.”
