AHMAD Zahid Hamidi is leaving to Umno delegates as to whether two top posts are to contested or not the party election which will be held latest by May 19.

The deputy prime minister also said there had been many sugestions on the matter but he believes Umno members are wise enough to decide.

“Some suggest for no contest for the two posts, some want it contested. As someone who upholds democracy, let the delegates decide.

“However, I am convinced that they are able to identify between good and bad and between genuine and fake,” he said in his policy speech at the party general assembly at the World Trade Center, Kuala Lumpur today.
