Sabah needs a cooling period, says Zahid

DR AHMAD Zahid Hamidi said the political fracas in Sabah needs a cooling period for those involved to find an amicable solution.

Speaking in Kota Kinabalu yesterday, he said all parties should not make any contradictory statement and speculation to enable the problem to be solved.

“Let us do it in a win-win situation, especially to be fair to Sabahans. No problem cannot be solved,” he said.

On January 6, Sabah Umno/BN chairman Bung Moktar Raden announced the withdrawal of support for chairman of GRS Hajiji Noor, alleging him to have breached the agreement of forming a state government after the 16th state election in 2020.
