THE quest for the three vice president posts and downward are healthy as it opens up competition, said party president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

He said although there were perception that it will lead to disintegration, polls at the grassroots level are more important.

“By contesting the posts of vice president and others is healthy and because I feel it is more important than contesting positions in certain camps.

“What is more important is, polling at the division and branch levels can pick the best individuals on March 18,” he said in Kuala Lumpur last Friday.
