UMNO president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said Umno and Barisan Nasional made the Unity Government complete although it has only 30 Parliamentary seats.

He said in his speech at the Unity Government National Convention in Kuala Lumpur yesterday, without the numbers, Pakatan Harapan which won 82 seats in the last general election will not be able to form the government.

“We are not after our personal interest but the nation and its people as a whole, after weighing all its advantages and disadvantages.

“As such, we will continue supporting the Unity Government.”
