KJ is talking about his dark abyss – Razlan

AN UMNO leader yesterday described how the political future of its former Youth chief Khairy Jamaluddin is bleak and the latter’s continuous criticism of the party is an attempt to build up his popularity.

Umno Supreme Council member Mohd Razlan Rafii said Khairy’s presence was not welcomed within both Pakatan Harapan (PH) and Perikatan Nasional (PN) despite an invitation for him to join PN.

“For example in PN, Khairy will become a challenge towards the party’s leadership if he accepted Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin’s invitation (to join).

“The offer has also caused tension between Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainuddin and his people and Muhyiddin, knowing that he (Khairy) will eventually become a liability to PN.

“There were also rumours saying that PH is also inviting Khairy (to join the party). (However), PH knows that Khairy will cause tension between the existing leadership in the coalition, whether from PKR or other parties.

“Hence, the ‘dark abyss’ described by Khairy only means his own bleak political career that has no direction.

“Many people don’t want him to join PN, (and at the same time) it will be like he is spitting at himself if he joins PH,” he said.
