Send PKR 12 to Palestine, says Youth chief

EXPRESSING support for the Palestine Solidarity Week in schools, Umno Youth asked Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim to send the 12 PKR elected representatives who opposed the initiative to Palestine.

The wing’s chief Dr Muhamad Akmal Saleh suggested the 12 be enlisted for a humanitarian mission to the war-torn area.

Urging the government not to cancel the initiative, he said: “This is not a question of violence or vengeance. It is related to enhancing our cooperation in facing the plights of the Palestinian.

“This is more on humanity,” he said in Melaka.
