KEDAHANS are still hoping for Umno although it lost the state in the state election, says party president Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

The Deputy Prime Minister said in Alor Setar on Sunday, Umno must not frustrate them in fact find a way to wrest power in Kedah in the near future.

“Let what happened in the past serves as a lesson for us. All we have to do is to strengthen our presence for the sake of the people.

“We will get ready and do everything we can to buckle up,” he said on his Facebook.
