THERE was no meeting whatsoever between Umno and PAS to collaborate in the next general election, said Umno’s Secretary-General Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki.

He however did not deny the possiblity of discussion among the grassroost.

“No meetings of high levels. I also heard of similiar meetings between them and Pakatan Harapan leaders… I dont know,” he said after chairing a meeting over the Nenggiri by-election at Menara Dato Onn, here today.

Earlier, PAS information chief Ahmad Fadhli Shaari revealed that few meetings was held between his party and Umno to discuss GE16.

On July 8, Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said they would not work together with PAS again if Hadi Awang is still their president.
