AMK denies issuing hatred statement

ANGKATAN Muda KEADILAN (AMK) has denied issuing a statement to incite hatred among parties in the Unity Government, notably Umno and Keadilan.

A website on Wednesday published a statement deemed inciting the two parties.

AMK Information Bureau had yesterday issued a counter statement by saying there were certain parties trying to break the Unity Government apart.

“As such, we are requesting the portal to retract the news in 24 hours or legal actions will be taken against them,” AMK said.

The portal published what was a statement purportedly by AMK’s information chief Nabil Halimi that UMNO, with only 26 seats in the Parliament, will lose it all in the 16th general election, and that the Malays are losing trust in the party.
