SELANGOR Umno is willing to sit down with Pakatan Harapan (PH) to form a political cooperation for the 16th general election.

Its liasion chief Megat Zulkarnain Omardin said the matter will be discussed together with Selangor Menteri Besar Amirudin Shari before the 15th Parliament session ends.

“We will sit down with (Datuk Seri) Amirudin, finding the established by for the general election,” he said in Shah Alam yesterday.

Megat also said that Selangor Umno is still consistent with party president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi’s stand that the Unity Government must be retained until the next general election.
